Project Engineer needed for immediate opening
Growth oriented manufacturer of engineered products for the building and construction industries, specializing in architectural Formliners for the concrete industry.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Candidate will assist sales staff in the review of potential new projects, including technical approach, feasibility and takeoffs.
• Ability to interface with customers engineering, project managers and manufacturing personnel to ensure understanding of project requirements and customer expectations.
• Develop and implement engineered project plans and documentation to ensure product quality and design requirements are met.
• Maintain a working system for project plans, work instructions and shop drawings.
• Develop engineering assignment schedules and review to ensure project schedules and planned timelines are maintained.
• Ability to utilize appropriate corrective action and engineering change procedures are communicated to manufacturing departments and customers as required.
• Active participation in the development of new products and help develop further project opportunities for the company.
• Direct activities of draftsman and design input to CNC programmers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree; preferred civil or design engineering.
• 5+ years experience or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and commit to meeting strict deadlines.
• Must be able to work autonomously on project related tasks or in team situations.
• Experienced with AutoCAD.
• Must be able to interpret architectural / civil plans, drawings, elevations and details.

Draftsman needed for immediate opening
Dynamic growing manufacturing company seeking qualified Auto CAD Draftsman. Candidate will work closely with lead draftsman, engineering and CNC programmer. Will assist in the development of Auto CAD prints from previously customer supplied construction drawings and documentation. Responsible for creating, in timely manner, sales approval, tooling and manufacturing prints.

Will also participate in design feasibility, tooling meetings and assist in special plant projects.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate should be familiar with Auto CAD 2007 version or newer.
• Must be organized and be able to maintain proper documentation controls and record keeping.
• Must be very motivated and willing to contribute to the overall improvement of the department.
• Experience in file conversions and website CAD file support a plus.

BA/AA/Tech School graduate preferred.
